Network Railcard Concessionary fares on the British railway network
recent version of network railcard.
this railcard introduced in 1986, when network southeast created. gives 34% discount on many (but again, not all) types of ticket within network southeast area. similar family railcard, without requirement child travelling obtain discount, groups of 4 adults , 4 children may travel , gain following discounts:
adult: 34% off full adult fare, subject minimum fare of £13.00 per ticket issued or £14.80 travelcards. there no minimum fare @ weekends, or on bank holidays except travelcards subject £5 minimum fare.
child: 60% off full child fare, subject minimum fare of £1.00 per ticket issued.
there have been various changes network railcard s conditions since 1986, , senior railcard, previous version existed under different name (the network card). current version costs £30.
