the traditional rengma clothing consists of various types of clothes, indicative of status , position of weavers. man has not been able offer great feast, or has never killed enemy, may wear ordinary type of cloth called rhikho. rhikho white cloth 4 narrow black bands. number of black bands varies age of wearer. moyet tsu ordinary type of cloth, worn young men. dark blue cloth broad median band, , embroidered thin zigzag pattern in red @ edges. alungtsu cloth well-to-do men, have not yet offered great feast. teri phiketsu shawl, requires wearer perform head hunting ceremony.


rengmas make yellow dye flowers of tree, , practise painting on clothes.
