born in paimpol, côtes-d armor, didot began career playing hometown club stade paimpolais, before moving rennes in 1997. after performing on youth level, promoted senior squad during winter break of 2001–02 season , subsequently made debut in coupe de france match against le havre. made league debut 4 days later against paris saint-germain coming on substitute in 1–2 loss. on next 2 seasons, integrated side appearing in 20 matches during 2002–03 season , making 28 appearances during 2003–04 season. 2004–05 season didot s best season date making 33 league appearances , scoring first league goal against rc strasbourg in 4–0 win. club finished fourth in league , qualified uefa cup, first in club s history.


didot s 2005–06 league campaign partially limited due injury. after featuring in 19 of first 20 league matches, forced out of squad after separating shoulder. missed 2 months , did not play in league again season. in last appearance before suffering injury, scored game-winning goal against rivals nantes in brittany derby.


due departure of olivier monterrubio rc lens in 2007, didot named captain of squad 2007–08 season. however, despite being captain , pre-selected raymond domenech france s squad in august, season off par didot s standards, partly due firing of manager pierre dréossi, replaced guy lacombe. didot appeared on , off in squad often, being dropped lacombe due injuries , bad play. made 24 league appearances scoring 2 goals in final season @ rennes.


toulouse

on 18 june 2008, announced didot transfer toulouse. transfer fee priced @ €3 million. made debut in opening league match against olympique lyonnais losing 0–3. however, toulouse responded going undefeated in next 7 matches. toulouse finished season fifth in standings, despite finishing 17th previous season, , made coupe de france semi-finals didot making 34 total appearances , scoring 2 goals.


on 18 april 2014, didot signed new three-year deal le téfécé side, keeping him contracted until june 2017.


guingamp

on 1 july 2016, didot joined french club guingamp.
