the first 1.5 based on extended riley 1.5 chassis bmc b series 1500 cc engine. two-door, four-seater coupé-styled body built of glass fibre. capable of 90 mph (140 km/h) , 8 made price tag of £1574.


made in greater numbers 1962 sx1000 based on mini. first cars built grafting ogle glass fibre body customer supplied mini. conversion cost £550 plus customer supplied base car. later in 1962, complete cars became available 997 cc cooper version costing £1176. of mini engines specified mini cooper s unit topped out @ 110 mph (180 km/h). cars equipped , featured padded dashboard increased safety. thought 66 made, jack brabham buying 1 wife betty first anniversary. following david ogle s death, decided cease car production remaining parts being used up. batch intended united states converted right hand drive , sold onto home market. thought last 1 left factory late 1964. moulds sold in 1966 norman fletcher, boat builder in west bromwich, west midlands, exhibited fletcher gt @ 1967 racing car show.
