kabir suman 1 of few recent musicians performs bangla khayal on stage.


although has not recorded studio album after 2012 (actually original recording in professional recording studio last occurred in 2008, later had recorded studio album entirely @ home), has recorded 2 soundtrack albums in 2014 , 2016. continuing live performance on various stages in kolkata , various towns in west bengal until 2017. performs live seldom in cities outside of west bengal, including indian , foreign cities, outside of asia. teaches songs in house on weekends. despite not physically fit due nervous problem, still performs three-hour solo live performance, playing electronic keyboard (now acoustic piano). until recent, played guitar. plays seldom melodica , harmonica @ concert. since 2013, took additional musicians in concert playing additional acoustic guitar , electronic percussion/tabla.
