growing military brat chosen ended living on army base in japan family. twist of fate unforeseen door lead chosen fulfilling dream of having entertainment career. in 1990s, young , eager make entertainment desires reality, chosen’s agent decided seize each , every opportunity became available. after tons of small acting roles, first major break televised weekly dance competition featured of japan s top hip-hop dancers. chosen won competition 3 weeks in row led valuable new contacts being made. found himself in regular role dancer on variety show & on weekends performed dance shows crew. when not dancing taking on other entertainment offering available. chosen s hard work lead recording contract.

chosen effects first major recording contract signed sony music entertainment japan. story goes, sony looking cool rapper rap on techno track compilation cd. friend tv show chosen used appear on approached him opportunity go sony recording studio , featured on track. though r&b/hip hop performer , had never listened dance music let alone try rap on any, decided give try , seize moment. long story short blew a&r guys away , on spot offered him along producer of song t-kimura (m-o-v-e, favorite blue, raveman) recording contract. third member group sourced named christina hane. chosen effect, stage name @ time terry-t, front man sony signed group subsonic factor. groups biggest hit single “2-b-in love” group’s first studio recording sony artist. song appeared on cd compilation called tokyo house underground vol 1 featured on compilation cd called tokyo babylon , of course appeared on group’s debut album called echoes. song became anthem unit song gaining more popularity being used in tv commercial theme song japanese anime. group s success saw them having faces plastered on of magazines , interviewed regularly on tv. subsonic factor went on have other music releases , next album after echoes called late , showcased different sound previous album. every show ever performed amazing unit sold out, creative differences lead group’s members (chosen, christina, , t-kimura) wanting pursue other ventures. birth of multiple solo projects chosen , official launch of solo music career.

he found himself hit single on hands. first hit single solo artist called “vamo la verdy” & song went gold. released pony canyon in japan & became official support song champion j-league professional soccer team verdy. next single released japanese woman’s professional wrestling league called deep up. japan broadcasting corporation asked chosen if sports theme album. album called “action” , great songs kept flowing tracks silent dance dedicated memory of f1 legend ayrton senna. chosen effects music has been featured in movie soundtracks japanese movie called “b” & video games such song “power” featured in playstation game bust-a-move.

raveman exploded on scene after chosen’s old subsonic factor member t.kimura, japanese dj gee (gts), & , friend motsu aka tom (more deep) decided put dance unit chosen once again taking place frontman. unit had tons of success in japanese dance scene. debut album called “pumpin” in fact had multiple songs chart in japanese club charts. raveman shows full of energy perfect fit high octane dance music. raveman name iconic in japanese dance scene , there tons of japanese artists have had mixes of music produced raveman. raveman music has been featured in japanese anime such song called “shin-chan” featured in popular japanese anime same name. though group known techno dance act, music knew no boundaries such track “gotta funky” hip-hop track r&b flavor & jungle styled track called “jungle bells. tracks these showcased chosen’s smooth rap skills , patented lyrical word play.

after having break music industry on quest try find himself , pursue serious relationship, chosen effect returned new outlook on life. spent great deal of time producing new , upcoming artists & trying them 1 step closer realizing dreams. however, in process of helping others, chosen’s own passion performing , overwhelming desire write own music resurfaced. recharged chosen effect had conquered of demons resurrected. first new single called “backstab” hip-hop track pop feel told story of various backstabbers had come across in journeys. theme continued release of next single called “friends you”. song wrote mom, dad & little brother called “better days” released title track ep same name. of these releases released vircenia records chosen effects record label.

t-effect changed name chosen effect in 2011 tribute mother died late 2010 cancer. mom number 1 fan , growing told him chosen. in honor of mom chosen effects new single called “tonight” due released on may 11, 2011 mother’s birthday unknown technical glitch labels previous distributor caused release of single delayed. result of release of tonight being delayed vircenia records unexpectedly decided release single liar liar 2 months earlier planned on may 28, 2011 due popularity of song. single “tonight” first new song released chosen’s upcoming album called “resurrection” honor has been given track liar liar .
