the carlisle indian school resource center of cumberland county historical society in carlisle, pennsylvania, houses extensive collection of archival materials , photographs carlisle indian school. in 2000, cumberland county 250th anniversary committee worked native americans numerous tribes , non-natives organize pow-wow on memorial day commemorate carlisle indian school, students , stories. resource center has on 3,000 photographs , recorded oral histories school alumni, relatives of former students , local townspeople.


today though many of population have changed view on western culture has become less interesting.
