the main offices , classrooms of college located inside malcolm hall within u.p. diliman campus in quezon city. building named after associate justice george malcolm, in 1911 became first permanent dean of college. building itself, 1 of oldest in diliman campus, designed noted architect juan m. arellano. built under supervision of construction firm pedro siochi , company. erected shortly before japanese invasion of philippines during world war ii, after university of philippines transferred main campus diliman in 1948 malcolm hall used. during deanship of raul pangalangan 2000 2005, extensive efforts made renovate , modernize facilities of malcolm hall.
malcolm hall houses university of philippines law library, formally known espiritu hall. largest academic law library in country. contains largest , up-to-date collection of philippine legal materials foreign statute , case books , various law journals. library open u.p. law students , professors. available non-up law students subject proper identification , payment of library service fees.
