the band s original lineup ken tamplin, lanny cordola, brian bromberg, , ken mary. after first album ken tamplin departed , phillip bardowell took on vocal duties. chuck wright later replace bromberg magdalen releases.


magdallan s lineup led group being referred supergroup. ken tamplin known work in shout. lanny cordola, chuck wright, ken mary known being members of group house of lords.

the band s first release, big bang, notable 1 of expensive christian albums produced time, budget reported being $250,000, , album faced criticism being overproduced. nevertheless, big bang nominated 1 gma dove award best metal/hard rock album in 1992, did not win.
