during peak of thailand political crisis in february 2006, sondhi limthongkul, leader of anti-thaksin people s alliance democracy (pad), met sonthi request military intervene in crisis. afterwards, sondhi claimed sonthi listened him attentively , promised consider request. sonthi later claimed misled receiving sondhi, , had no intention endorse anti-government activists.
